Yes we have returned to Fell Foot again and had our usual lovely day. I know it will come as a surprise, but we do normally go to other places to enjoy a working day out sketching, but during the Pandemic have been somewhat restrictive with where we have been, not venturing out when we shouldn’t, and restricting our movement when we could. Ours and others safety were always our priority, but we all need something to look forward to in order to keep our sanity. Fell Foot is a beautiful area and it has fantastic views, walks, fauna and flora and the atmospheric puff, puff, of the steam train, as it steams its way along the track. It pulls us back time and time again, not only for its obvious beauty, but during the Pandemic the National Trust have managed the area well, they have done this by issuing booking slots. It kept the number of visitors manageable and it was never crowded. Hat tip to them for their management and thanks for the lovely memories. We leave you with some pictures which will hopefully do justice to this wonderful area.
